Welcome to the Melanson Rd trail. This kid-friendly series can be found year round. In the winter, you are walking a four-wheeler trail, but if a lot of snow is down, you may need snowshoes to get to the hides. If in a group, you can easily park cars at one end and begin at the other end. There is more ease of parking on the Notre Dame side. End to end is 4.5 kms.
There is a firepit with benches half way in, it's a great spot to take a re-fueling break.
Please re-hide better than when found and re-seal all log baggies. Bring your own sharpie. Caches are all winter friendly and easy to find.
