You may recognize them as one hit wonders of the 90's, but Reel Big Fish actually have a huge catalog of music spanning 30 years strong, and if lead singer Aaron Barrett has anything to say, a lot more time to go. I, like most, caught onto them back when they were on radio the first time but they helped transform the musical landscape of everything I would listen to after that time and led me to the type of music that still moves my heart, soul and body more than any other genre of music in the world. I have seen them live over 20 times and will still catch every concert in the area without fail.
Now you must weed through the lyrics below to acquire your coordinates... This puzzle is 3 stages.
1st- you must discover which songs contain the lyrics that I find meaningful.
2nd- you must discern which album of theirs the song is derived from and..
3rd what the track number is for said song on each particular album. It will be with those track numbers that you can use to fill in the blanks on your coordinates.
While this can be done with mainly googling, part of me hopes some of you take the time to look the band up and give them a listen if you haven't. I tried to stay with major realeases by the band, full albums, no limited runs or EPs or compilations. I did skip one album but on that album Everything Sucks, quite literally, so you won't have to know much about that early mess of debut material, fear not! Most of it got remade eventually and put on other albums! Good luck. I hope you enjoy your little tour of a band that I do so love. They may seem snarky to some, but hidden within the lyrics are messages of self empowerment and learning to get over lost love that have helped me grow as a man since I've known them. May they make you dance, may they make you laugh, may they make your anger seem not quite so evil in the end. And maybe you'll come and see them when they get real big, maybe you'll see them if they ever get another gig. 'Cuz there's so many fish in the sea, And they all look like me; Just a little tiny fish, that's all I'll ever be...

A = You showed up at my door today and said, "My friend, why do you push me away?" Your life with him was just so dull, but what we had was something wonderful.
B = I feel it coming on, I know there's something wrong. I don't even know you yet but I know what you want to do to me. My latest dream girl, my latest nightmare. Could this be the start of another long, long, hateful love-affair?
C = Maybe some day I'll think of what to say.Maybe next time I'll remember what to do. She looks like heaven, maybe this is hell. Said she'd do it all again, she'd promise not to tell!
D = Did you misunderstand something that i did? Or was there one of my jokes that you didn't get? Or do you think you've got the way i think all figured out? What did i say, to make you feel i'm not cool now?
E = There's a little girl I know, you might know her too. She looks so good, she looks so cute. Standing next to you. And I don't know what to do.
F = She told me that I was lame with her middle finger in my face. Won't waste her time with such a loser. So now I wallow in regret. Wanna do something right but I haven't yet. Why do my endeavors end up in failure?
G = All the cool kids go steady. They're making out at 12. We sit in our rooms, alone by ourselves. It's Friday, no phone call, nobody asked us out.
H = How did this all get so ugly, you became so strange. You're always coiled back, ready to attack. Your lips curled over your vampire fangs.
I = No more flippin' burgers. Puttin' on my silly hat. You know I don't want that no more. And I didn't ask when we'd get paid. I quit my day job anyway. I guess it doesn't matter. I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
