Geocache Description:

A bison in the woods... Oh No!

Bring your own writing instrument!

While on a recent hike to replace a cache I adopted, I ventured a bit off trail. Well, not exactly... I followed a well-worn trail to a certain markable feature (marked below for reference) and then ventured off trail a bit.
You can print yourself a trail map here.
This poem below should get you in the right direction (my apologies to all great poets out there).


Near the Loops where White Rock and Piney Forest meet,
A bison hangs in a tree, though not the one with meat.
This bison has a log,but not the one you sit on.
Just write your name and the date, of course,
to prove that you've been here-on.
(and roll it back tightly, please)

From the reference point where the "T" is in the trails,
Turn thereabouts northeast.
About 200 feet you'll travel.
If you've gone too far, you'll meet barbed wire.
(rhyming isn't my strongest suit)

A tree to your left is the biggest deciduous nearby,
It's within 15 feet of the cache,
But don't look there,
Don't even try.

Let your GPS settle
Some patience you must have,
Read the hint below if it's the cache you must grab.
