Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the Taylor County Geotrail, a series of 11 geocaches launched in the Grafton area during Fall 2015.

Located 4 miles east of Grafton along U.S. Route 50, Thornton features a unique Mission Revival-style former schoolhouse.


Thornton United Methodist Church

Ground Zero for the Thornton cache is Thornton United Methodist Church, built in 1912. Services are Sundays at 9:30am if you would like to stop in, but please avoid searching for the cache on Sunday mornings otherwise.
