If you're walking on a walk or going on a bike ride, when you reach the PACE Center, you will be able to cross a Sulfur Gulch and there it is. Sulfur Gulch is typically passable without even touching the water, but the cache is also accessible from the south in case the stream is running high.
BRING PRIZES/GOODIES TO PUT IN AND TAKE OUT
Obsessed with the new idea of Geocaching, the "Nerd Squad" found an old tin snowflake cookie container, wrapped cheap yellow duct tape around it, and threw it in the first place we could think of. Sulfur Gulch trail was the main artery for us to ride our bikes from each others' houses to places like the skate park, McDonalds, O'brien park, etc.
The original tin can finally rusted out in 2023, after nearly nine years after it was originally placed by some middle school skrubs. Although all of the "Nerd Squad" has since grown apart and moved away from Parker, I figured I could commemorate one of the best friend groups I've ever had by replacing the tin can with a nicer waterproof ammo box filled with some new prizes, since the original lasted so long.
Shoutout to the Nerd Squad!! Cameron, Trenton, Benjick, Steve (TheCuriousPickle) and myself. It brings me a lot of joy to see others spending time finding our cache the same way we all once did with theirs!
