Geocache Description:

This is located on a small island a few feet from the main land. In the summer it will be a short walk in the water or a short swim. During the winter you can walk to the island.

The cache is located in Wind Creek State Park near Alex City, Alabama. There is a $3.00 per person entrance fee. The park is open from 7:00 am to sundown.

The cache is placed with permission from the Park and has the required permit. Geocaching is allowed by the State of Alabama Park system and you need to obey all of the park rules and regulations.

Parking is allowed ONLY in designated parking areas. PLEASE do not park along HWY 128 and County Road 21 once you reach the Park’s boundaries.
