This is homage to Cherokee Chief Dragging Canoe(1738-1792) He was a Cherokke war chief who led Cherokee against colonist & U.S. settlers in the upper Soutjh. He was a role model for Tecumseh, who along with Sequoyah, were among Dragging Canoe's young warriors. He died from either exhaustion or a heart attack after dancing all night.
This cache is on the Little Cedar Mtn. Trail. Enjoy your hike.
