Named in honor of the beautiful Northern Flickers that we would see in this spot when we were kids; hopefully you see a few in flight with their red underwings and chirping call. If you're lucky maybe you will hear a male drumming away on a tree searching for a mate! Once you make the find, maybe you can sit on the bench to the south and enjoy the view or watch the sunset.
