This is 1 of 2 new cache located in Holstein Park. It is a small L&L located very close to the listed parking coordinates, and also near a nice view of Lake Estling, which can be seen from the cache, but there are better views of both Lake Estling and Indian Lake nearby.
For those looking to explore, or those who are interested in old rock walls (yes, I'm talking to you MetsFan), if you take the unmarked trail to the right as soon as you leave the parking area, you will find a rock wall which parallels the trail and leads down the hill. The wall then splits in a T at the bottom of the hill. This trail will loop around and will also bring you to the cache.
This cache has been placed with permission from the township of Denville. At thier request, this cache contains a log only and no swag items. They also request parking in the lot at the end of MacKenzie Ln. and avoid parking on the streets near other trailheads into Holstein Park. The coordinates for the requested parking area have been added. Please contact the Township of Denville for approval if you are interested in placing other cache in Holstein Park, as they have only given permission to add 2 new cache at this time.
