Whilst searching for the elusive Lake Timara nearby I realized the road does actually go all the way through from Dog Point Road to Lake Timara Road. The Council advise against it at the ford/crossing point though the stream was barely a trickle at this time of year I guess it must rise during heavier rain and wetter periods.
Therefore I pondered what you get when you cross a Dog (Point Road) and Hawk(esbury Road). A Hog.? A Dawk? No, a cache.
Placed near where the roads intersect, this should be a QEF.
