Anyone who places a cache has to start with their first one, well this is my first hide. I walk by this cemetery many times a week while walking my dog. Gardnertown Cemetery is one of the oldest active cemeteries in Newburgh. On the west side of Union Ave is the older section and on the east side is the newer, active section. Notice the bright red doors on the church, my wife's grandfather was a local carpenter and made those doors.
You do not have to enter the cemetery to make the find, just be carefull walking along the road. As with all cemetary caches please be respectful of the area. You can park along the road at the entrance to the cemetery.
