"Christmas Trees Gone Bad" - The Repository Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ohjoy!: The Repository container is now in a different place and the only purpose it has at this time is to hold equipment for the Lake St. Clair earthcaches. It is no longer a cache, simply a repository in a safe location.

Geocache Description:

re·pos·i·to·ry /rəˈpäzəˌtôrē/
noun: a place, building, or receptacle where things are or may be stored.

I need a repository for some large items. For a cache find, inside the large container you will find a beary large plastic container with log, etc. Additional items related to Lake St. Clair earthcaches are also stored in this container. Please only take them long enough to do the earthcaches and then return them to the repository.

I obtained the owner's permission to place this cache on his property while purchasing my Christmas tree. He explained that he simply let this patch of trees get too big, and decided that some time in the future he will cut the them for timber before replanting.

Yes, for you old-time cachers, the name is partly from GCHMZ7 - Christmas Trees Gone Bad, by The Gold-Diggers. Years ago, it was part of a great day of caching and meeting new cachers. The name tickled my fancy then, and I am now using (stealing?) it as the original cache with that name was archived in 2005.

Enjoy your walk amidst future lumber. Please prop branches against the sides of the container.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Lines, weights, Secchi disk, ruler and white board are not trade items - they are to be borrowed when doing earthcaches.]
