Description
Mitchell Rd in Brookvale runs between Pittwater Rd and Wattle Rd connecting a very diverse number of businesses in the area in adjoining cross streets. Mitchell Rd was named after a local identity that had a lot to do within the community and just so happens to be a distant relative. More can be read about the local area here: http://manlylocalstudies.blogspot.com.au/2014/12/early-days-in-warringah.html
The Cache
In more recent years there has been re-development of various buildings in the area. The one adjacent to the cache having had a large mural painted on the side of the building so the GZ will be hard to miss.
Parking in the area will be challenging Mon - Fri but weekends should be fine. There will be high muggle activity on weekdays to contend with as well so some S.T.E.A.L.T.H will be required here.
The container is a small (similar to another of ours close by) with only room for the log and a pencil. Best to BYO pencil or pen just incase. The area is also close to main bus routes with an easy 5-10min walk from Pittwater Rd bus stops near Winbourne Rd.
For the lucky FTF you will be rewarded with a $1 coin. (Don't spend it all at once!)
When planting the GPSr was averaged and a little out on one occasion. Due to the proximity of buildings this is unavoidable but hopefully to the trained Cache eye it should not present a problem.
