Geocache Description:

The size of this cache is bigger than a micro, but a smaller than a small. It has room for small SWAG and a log. You must bring your own writing instrument. Please re-hide exactly as you found it so as not to spoil the experience for the next cacher.

***Attention***Attention***Container is now a Hide-a-Key!!!

The history of Fort Worth is closely intertwined with that of northern Texas and the Texan frontier. From its early history as an outpost and barrier against Native American threats, to its later days as a booming cattle town, to modern times as a corporate center.

Another area of history that Fort Worth has been closely involved with is aviation. There were and still are several large aircraft and aviation companies that call Fort Worth home. Fort Worth was also home to a major Strategic Air Command Air Force Base and is now home to a large Joint Reserve Base. Fort Worth also had training facilities early on for pilots fly biplanes in early stages of aviation.

Airplanes have been a historical part of Fort Worth for almost as long as they have been flying. We were surprised when we discovered there was no geocache at this location. That is why we asked for and received permission to place one here. The hours of operation are posted on their website here: www.fortworthaviationmuseum.com/

The cache can be accessed from outside the fence, but please check out this location we are sure you will find it of interest. There is FTF Micro Coin for the First to Finder to move on.

Congrats to lgf on FTF @ 0915 on 1/26/2015!!
