Geocache Description:

Hi!  Rich Uncle Pennybags here to introduce you to a series of geocaches celebrating the board game Monopoly!  Your goal will be to play a game of Monopoly geocaching-style, and to collect color groups, hotels, and a special final bonus cache!

Welcome to the orange group, consisting of St. James Place, Tennessee Ave and New York Ave.  This group is the fourth one encountered on the Monopoly game board, and is the most often landing upon group on the board.

For this cache you will need to collect some information from the Monopoly artifacts in the cache.  Please do not remove anything from the cache that is specific to the Monopoly game itself - in other words, trading swag is fine but do not remove any Monopoly related articles.  Once you find the information you need, make a note of it - you will need it later!

In order to collect the hotel cache for the orange, you must, just like in the game, collect finds on the entire orange group.  The information you collect from the properties will lead you to the hotel.  Collect the hotels from all of the color groups, and you will be able to find the final bonus cache and win the game!  (Yes, just like a real game of Monopoly, this may take you a couple of hours!)

Oh!  Before I forget!  When you play the Monopoly game there is an added randomizing factor that players must contend with - Chance and Community Chest cards!  These cards throw an element of uncertainty into the game, as the players' movement is not related to the throw of the dice.  What would a Monopoly themed series of caches be without incorporating the cards?  So - in each of the caches you will find a Chance or a Community Chest card that you may - or may not - need to follow.  Make sure you pay attention to these cards!  (But please, no matter what - DON'T TAKE THEM!)

Finally, here's a little piece of Monopoly trivia for you, from the Hasbro Gaming website:

The most expensive version of the game was produced by celebrated San Francisco jeweler Sidney Mobell. Valued at $2 million, the set features a 23-carat gold board and diamond-studded dice.
