The Yellow-Footed Rock-Wallaby is a very attractive member of the macropod family of marsupials, with a grey colouring offset by yellow arms legs and tail, and rust coloured tail bands. Paradoxically, their beauty has become their undoing, with the species classified as vulnerable after intensive hunting for their prized fur pelts. Conservation measures are now in place to prevent extinction, with reserve areas allocated and fox eradication programs in place.
