Geocache Description:


Before 2003, this place housed a lovely little aboretum. There were many different types of magestic trees. Alas, it all burned down in the 2003 fires... Well, today I had a wander though the ex-aboretum, so see if there were any traces left. At this location (in the middle of plot 25) I managed to find a plot site sign! It details the trees that were growing here, where they were from, and when they were planted (1932). Not only that, but there are two new pines growing here. Now, I am not a botanist, but I think the one on the left is a Pinus Ponderosa! So maybe a small memory of this place will remain.
