There are a lot of nice Wadis and some of them are with big trees which offering you shadow on your walk.
In the rainy season you can find a lot of pools containing water and the bottom of the wadis are covered with flowers in all colors.
The high Mountains in the area are worth a climb.
To the north you have great views to the farms in the Dirab valley, the Equestrian Center, the Golf Club and Saudi Arabias only Satellite Station.
To the south one can see the mountains with the line of Red Sand cutting through.
Follow the description of the cache "GCY5GT Dirab" and visit that one first. Later on at the Y-junction keep left and look for the first offroad track.
The track is usually drivable for 2WD and sedans, but in the rainy season you might find some grooves.
The area is inviting for a camp, so take your tent and come out to forget the hectic and noise of Riyadh.
Enjoy the scenery on your hike through wadis and mountains and a good barbecue in the calm evening.
After a good breakfast in the morning you should visit the cache "GCKWTW Alpha". If you find the right way you might be able to reach the first stage of
the cache also in your sedan, but beware you have to cross the sand. If you come with a 4x4 you can then do some sand driving to the final stage.
