Tortola - Especially for Cruisers Traditional Cache

Dingo79: The rests of this geocache have been collected. I say thanks for all the kind logs. Now, it is time to archieve the geocache because for me it has been some afford to organize a good maintenance for the cache.

When I placed the cache here in Tortola, there was no other cache in the near of the cruise port. So, I wanted to give others the chance of a fast country point on the beautiful island. Today, there is another traditional geocache in the near of the harbour: https://coord.info/GC5PN1W

But for those, who also want to have a real good experience in hiking the hill and have a great view on the cruise ships I can still highly recommend "Tortola Fort Charlotte" (http://coord.info/GC13ZJH)!

ENGLISH:
I guess other geocachers, especially those that arrive here with a cruise ship, would like to enjoy a quik find of a geocache in the near of the harbor. This place seems to be a good location for a micro sized geocache container.

If you are also interested in a little walk of in total 5 miles (= 8 km) on the nearby montain, I can highly recommend you this brilliant geocache from CruiseWolf & CruiseKat with lots of great views on the island and cruise ships located in the harbor: "Tortola Fort Charlotte" (http://coord.info/GC13ZJH).

Ich schätze, auch andere Geocacher, insbesondere diejenigen, die hier mit einem Kreuzfahrtschiff anlegen, freuen sich hier über einen schnellen Fund in Hafennähe. Dafür scheint dieser Platz wie gemacht für diesen Mikro.
