Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache.
The cache IS at the published co-ordinates, but you must qualify based on the rules below before you can claim your smiley.

This challenge cache has been placed in honour of a well known local cacher, who goes by the name Leonards193, to mark all the hard work team L193 give to the rest of the caching community in this area.

To claim this challenge cache, you must find 50 (or more) caches owned by a single CO.
I had hoped to be able to make the number higher - to make it more of a challenge, but had to make a compromise.

Even though this is in honour of Leonards193, the qualifying caches DO NOT need to be theirs, any CO counts.

It seems several cachers have followed a route that takes them through the farm.
I can see that if you are not local, the public footpaths might take you that way.
Therefore I have added a waypoint. If you go to the waypoint from the suggested parking, and turn left by the fencing, under the railway bridge and just keep walking.
This route also allows you to pick up some additional caches that you will be passing too.

The Rules:

  • All finds count, past, present and future. So some folk may already qualify to claim this cache.
  • Finds still count even if the cache subsequently gets archived.
  • If you wish to 'find' this cache but do not yet qualify, write a note on this page and convert it to a smiley when you later qualify but making sure you inform me of the change so I can check your qualifying caches.
  • You must provide some evidence to show that you have fulfilled the criteria for this cache e.g. caches listed in your log, bookmark list or any other means which will enable me to check your entitlement to log a find..See below for suggested methods of checking
  • Found logs that don't qualify will be deleted.
  • Qualifying finds of finders who don't sign the physical log book will also be deleted. - I will check the log book periodically
  • Optional Extra - In your log, tell us about your favourite find by your chosen CO, and why you enjoy finding their caches.

To see if you qualify, you can use one or more of the methods detailed below;

Using Dr.Al's GeoChecker:

Big thanks to Dr.Al for setting this up for me.
NOTE: This method will only work for Premium Members.
Basic members should use the next method, as this should work for you

Visit Geocaching "Lots of the Same" Challenges
Then follow the instructions on how to download your "My Finds PQ"
Once you have run the checker, you will get a list of all your finds for your top CO

Using GSAK:

Download the 'Finds by owner' macro, by clicking here
( This will download the file to your device, so by clicking, you are accepting the risk associated with this. There is no need to download any files to complete this challenge, this is just here as an aid for GSAK users. )
Install the macro in GSAK
Run the macro
When prompted to enter the number caches you've found by a single owner to include in the report, enter 50.
The macro should then run, and output a web page listing the qualifying CO's.
If no CO's are listed, then you don't qualify yet
You can then use this page as proof for your log.
Simply grab a screenshot to add to your log

Please feel free to email me via my profile page if you have any queries on this challenge.

All that it remains for me to say, is enjoy the walk to GZ, you may even be able to pick up 1 or 2 Leonards193 caches on the way.

You are looking for a screw top plastic jar, in a black bag.
There is a FTF certificate, and prize for first claimant. wink
Plenty of space for TB's and swapables.

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to Leonards193 on being FTF
