The cache is atop a mountain with fine views of the surrounding mountains.
The walk up to the cache is quite straightforward, once across the inlet of the reservoir take the direct walk upward until you reach a fence with a rough track beside it. Follow the track to the cache.
The soil in this part of the island is compacted, the covering of rocks, larger in size than normal, make walking a little hazardous as the rocks do not sink into the ground when stepped on. It is important to take care as a fall or twisting of an ankle is a distinct possibility.
For this reason walking boots are strongly recommended and the cach is suitable for only older children.
My usual warning is especially appropriate for this cache. As with all walking in Fuerteventura, because of the rocky terrain, ALWAYS look where you place your feet, if you wish to admire the scenery, stop walking and plant your feet securely.
This is a difficult place to hide a cache. Please ensure that the cache is replaced exactly where found between the two rocks, the lid is secured and the cache is covered by the rocks.
