You Have Mail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current Geocaching guidelines.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Thank you for your contribution to geocaching.

Geocache Description:

**NOTE: This cache is placed with permission in/near unused mailboxes** A simple cache reminiscing about the good old days of personal mailboxes. Park with care on this narrow road. Maybe just around the corner on Farnham Road would be a better parking spot, as it is a dead end gravel road with much less traffic.

**NOTE: This cache is placed with permission in/near unused mailboxes** I remember the days when we used to get excited about getting mail. You would drive up to your own personal mailbox, the flag showing you that you have correspondance waiting for you to open and read. Sometimes it would be bills, other times it would be peronal letters from friends or acquaintances. Nowadays, community mailboxes are taking over, and mail is just not as exciting as it used to be. These mailboxes, that now sit derelict and unutilized, are a reminder of the good old days.
