Message in a Bottle (Sth Auckland) Traditional Cache

Do you remember making a shoe box diorama as a child? or Have your ever looked through a peep hole in the side of a dioramas or something similar to see the world or something special inside?. Well this is a caching verson of that

....the cache contains a 'peep hole' through which you can look to see a message from both sides of the world NZ + Maryland/Virginia...

This cache came about through our communictions with our caching buddies overseas "BardenL" while solving the Virginia Multi by Agazo.

Puhinui reserve is one of South Auckland largest reserves at approx. 199 hectars it containes Biking paths and a conservation zone.  The reserve is bound in the East by a stream and in the West by Manukau harbour.  This reserve is a 'working farm' and contains stock so please read the signs for information about gates etc.  Equestrian events are held here throughout the yr.  Puhinui reserve has easily walked paths and biking trails within it that are suitable for kids and strollers.

GATES: 7am-7pm Winter & 7am-9 pm, Summer
