This cache is located near Hayes Canyon Campground - Eddyville, IL. Drive through Eddyville, one mile to campground. Stop at the office before parking. After parking, walk back toward the office then, left down the power lines (road) through the camp, North. Cross the low-water bridge, then look for a trail on the left. Follow this trail. Stop in at N37 30.781 W088 35.500 and see where water flows to form part of the Double Branch Hole "natural area", chose to explore the top of the bluff and stay off trail while you explore. Or, continue along the trail to the spot known as "the Barrel", here water pools up in a natural bowl before it heads on down stream.
USE CAUTION in the area at all times, the surface can be VERY slick when wet.
