La cache se trouve sur ce Parc Culturel qui se trouve à Fort de France, ville capitale de la Martinique.
LE SITE :
Le parc Floral se situe sur l'emplacement de l'ancien hôpital militaire de Fort-Royal. En 1935, il accueille les festivités du tricentenaire des Antilles françaises et prend alors le nom de parc du Tricentenaire. La caserne Gallieni y est ensuite aménagée.
Lorsque la ville de Fort-de-France la rachète, elle y favorise en 1973 l'organisation des premières floralies internationales. Le parc Gallieni devient alors le parc Floral. La mairie y installe en 1976 son service culturel, le SERMAC. De son passé militaire, le parc a gardé l'image d'une enceinte dans la ville. C'est le seul jardin clos de la ville basse. Il se compose d'un sentier botanique, d'une grande pelouse bordée de massifs et abrite quelques 233 espèces d’arbres et palmiers : allée de tamariniers, poiriers, courbarils, un Ylang Ylang et un baobab issu du plant offert par Léopold Sédar Senghor à Aimé Césaire.
En 2008, le parc floral renommée parc culturel Aimé césaire. On aurait dû appeler ce parc « parc de la nostalgie » tant il a des faux aires de la Savane d’avant la rénovation. Dans son espace aussi il possède des batiments d’époque comme un ancien poste de police municipal, un ancien hopital militaire.
Il accueil par ailleurs dans son enceinte une structure le Grand Carbet avec une salle de spectacle. Normalement il doit être aménagé en vrai parc culturel mais le chantier semble à l’arret depuis au moins 1 an…[
LA CACHE :
[Une fois que vous aurez stationné votre voiture où si vous arrivez sur le lieu, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache de petite taille magnétique est placée à quelques mètres du site. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP). Faîtes preuve d'une grande discrétion car les lieux sont assez fréquentés en raison de la facilité d'accès. Nous vous demandons de bien replacer la cache à son emplacement d'origine.

When the city of Fort-de-France acquires It, It favors in 1973 the organization of the first international flower shows there. The park Gallieni becomes then the Floral park. The city hall installs in 1976 its cultural service there, the SERMAC. Of its military past, the park kept the image of a surrounding wall in the city. It is the only closed garden of the low city. It consists of a botanical path, a big lawn lined with massifs and shelters some 233 species of trees and palm trees: path of tamarinds, pear trees, courbarils, Ylang Ylang and baobab stemming from the plant offered by Léopold Sédar Senghor to Aimé Césaire.
In 2008, the floral park renamed cultural park Aimé césaire. We should have called this park " park of the nostalgia " so much it has false nest of the Savanna of front the renovation. In its space also it possesses buildings of time as old municipal police station, old military hospital. It welcome besides in its surrounding wall a structure Grand Carbet with a theater. Normally he must be fitted out in real cultural park but the construction site seems to the stop for at least 1 year …
