How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Twiggy celebrates Mark Hill's stunning sculpture, lakeside on the Kelvin Penninsula near Queenstown.  The lakeside walkway around the outside of the Frankton Golf now has three sculptural works, all by prominent New Zealand artists.   The cache requires some lateral thinking and stealth as during the summer months the adjacent beach a popular destination.

Follow the road along the Kelvin Peninsula right to the end where there is plenty of parking, toilets, picnic facilities and a children's play ground.  Follow the walking track  to GZ.  The cache has been placed so that geocachers can look as if they are admiring the view, photographing the sculpture or having a picnic.  We have tried to make the stealth bit easier for you.

The cache container is a black plastic container with a log book and pencil in it.  It is not visible but is at ground level.
