It really would be nice if the FTF goes to a tourist/out-of-towner
This cache is mainly designed for new kids in town or tourists who like to combine sightseeing with geocaching. It is a mystery that leads you through Vienna to some of the most important points of interests (POI), at least to my impression.
And here is the mystery:
This is a picture of 10 Vienna POIs and an assigned numbers. During your tour through Vienna you have to identify the objects on the photos correctly. Finally, put the POI number you have identified into the following equation:
ABC = 1*Stephansdom + 2*Staatsoper + 3*Belvedere + 4*Parlament + 5*Schönbrunn + 6*Hofburg + 7*NaturhistorischesMuseum + 8*Riesenrad + 9*Rathaus + 10*Stadtpark
XYZ = 10*Stephansdom + 9*Staatsoper + 8*Belvedere + 7*Parlament + 6*Schönbrunn + 5*Hofburg + 4*NaturhistorischesMuseum + 3*Riesenrad + 2*Rathaus + 1*Stadtpark
Then calculate the place where the cache is hidden from the following equation:
N48° 11.(ABC-185)
E016° 18.(XYZ+349)
The cache is hidden near to Schönbrunn. So plan your tour to end there. The park is not open all the time. Please refer to the opening hours!

About this cache: I got this idea from a similar cache in Lima (GC1EY5P) and Seoul (GC1FB85). I thought it was a great idea and that other cities should have a similar cache so I copied the puzzle and exchanged the pictures. Finally I named it "Top 10 POI Vienna" so that other users could search for this type of cache (there are already a few). Hope you enjoy this cache. I have enjoyed making this style of cache.
Dieser Cache ist vornehmlich für Neulinge in dieser Stadt sowie Touristen, die Sightseeing mit Geocachen verbinden wollen. Diese Mystery führt dich durch Wien, vorbei an einigen der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, zumindest meiner Meinung nach.
Hier ist das Rätsel:
Auf dem Bild sind 10 POIs in Wien mit zugewiesenen Nummern abgebildet. Während deiner Tour durch Wien musst du die Objekte auf den Bildern identifizieren. Danach setze die entsprechenden Nummern in die folgende Formel ein:

Ich fand die Idee gut und das auch andere Städte einen ähnlichen Cache dieser Serie haben sollten. Und so kopierte ich das Listing und passe es an. Ich nannte es "Top 10 POI Vienna" so das man diese Serie leicht finden kann (einige gibt es ja schon). Ich hoffe, der Cache gefällt dir.
