This cache is dedicated to the friendly monsters on Sesame St.
There have been many monsters on Sesame Street, the famous children’s TV program and first home of Jim Hansons Muppets. During the 70's one of our favourites was a friendly blue monster named Grover. Over the years monsters came and went as did their human friends and generations of kids were learning how to count (with the Count....AH AH AH) and learning the alphabet that ended with 'Zee'! Finally a small red monster appeared, with his cutesy squeaky voice and infectious laugh....ELMO! Elmo stole the show as far as the Sesame St monsters went, major franchising deals, his own show, guest appearances on Dave Letterman and even here in Australia on Rove. So what of my blue friend Grover? He still does the odd spot on the street but nowhere the work of Elmo or even Kermit the Frog. But here in the bush between the Yarra and Bunyip Valley's is Grover's legacy, a quiet gravel road and a cache. This one’s for you Grover! The cache is located at ground level just off the dirt road that shares the friendly blue monsters name. It is located close to the intersection with a fairly quiet but major road so take care if hunting with kids. The cache is a camo'ed 200ml Sistema but don't expect it to jump out at you. As with most 200's BYO pen and there is a little bit of room for trackables or swaps. Like all bush caches watch out for the wildlife that may not be to happy with your presence. Congratulations to Bonnyblack on the FTF, No.2 of ours we believe.
