COCKSCOMB FLOWER - It resembles a rooster's comb, thus the name Cockscomb Flower. These flowers can be seen in vibrant yellows, pinks, reds and gold colours. They have no fragrance and their exact origins in the wild is still unknown.
COCKSCOMB FISH - The High Cockscomb is a small, ray-finned fish that looks similar to a tiny eel. This animal rarely reach lengths in excess of 20 cm and can be identified by their long tubelike body and soft dorsal rays that cover the entire back.
COCKSCOMB MOUNTAINS - It is situated in the Baviaanskloof region and the nearest town is Uitenhage.
