Observation point: Harston ROC v2 Traditional Cache

Hidden in the field boundary is the Harston ROC post. I had no idea that this was here until doing a recent cache in Caxton and learning about these structures. Details on the Harston post can be found by googling for Harston ROC.

This cache can be done as a cache and dash and there is room to park at the field entrance (along as you leave room for the farmer to get in and out). The hatch to the post is unlocked and you will need to descend to find the cache. The floor is a bit bumpy/lumpy at the bottom of the ladder but once past that it is suprisingly dry and OK. You may need a torch... I dare you to go down, close the lid and turn off the light...
