The boat represents the symbol of fishing, as a traditional activity of the place, considering that Tulcea town stays at the entrance to the wonderful and diverse Danube Delta, where fishing is a main activity of the local communities.
The park where the boat is located is famous for hosting the statues of some of the most significant figures from the Romanian culture and history. The place is really nice to walk around, relax or have a picnic. It is also located next to the public bus station and the train station, so once that one visits Tulcea this place is not to be missed.
