Geocache Description:

This is a series of 8 caches based on the Harry Potter series by J K Rowling. Seekers should visit seven traditional caches found at places in each of the books to locate the final mystery cache: "Harry Potter: Anyone seen Trevor?". You will need to collect the code numbers from 6 caches and a clue from the 7th cache. Tweezers and a pen are required for some of the micro caches.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Before Harry's return to Hogwarts for his fourth year, he watches the Quidditch World Cup with the Weasley family and Hermione.  To get there, they have to climb Stoatshead Hill, a steep hill located outside the village of Ottery St. Catchpole.  Here they find the portkey which transports them to the Quidditch World Cup.  Portkeys are usually disguised as common items so as not to draw the attention of muggles - this one was an old boot.

"They all stood there, in a tight circle, as a chill breeze swept over the hilltop.  Nobody spoke.  It suddenly occurred to Harry how odd this would look if a Muggle were to walk up here now ... nine people, two grown men, clutching this manky old boot in the semi-darkness, waiting ..."  J K Rowling

To find this cache, you will need to climb Stoatshead Hill but be careful and try not to slip!
