Welcome to my celebration, with food.

Time: 12:30-4:00 (ok I will be there at 4 but we will get started later)
I plan on eating about 1:30 for those that attend, more info will follow
We will have food, I will be cooking dutch oven mean and maybe desserts, but will need to know how many in your group. If you want dutch oven, the price will be $4 for adults $3 for small kids (it is optional, no pressure to eat). Let me know how many will be eating in logs. I would appreciate it if you bring salads or something foody like stuff to the event, but it is not required. Once again you don't have to pay to attend, only if you want dutch oven.
I will be doing this at a loss, so I will have a donation jar (ammo can) to help pay for the pavilion, food, materials. If you want to make donations for game prizes let me know.
The park is on a trail with a number of caches in the area, and we will play some games in the park while here.

On May 2nd 2000, 15 years ago, the switch was thrown that brought GPS use to from the military to the general public. On May 3rd David Ulmer wondered if he could hide something with enough accuracy for someone to find it. He placed a cache that day, and on May 3rd posted in online with the following message
Well, I did it, created the first stash hunt stash and here are
the coordinates:
N 45 17.460
W122 24.800
Lots of goodies for the finders. Look for a black plastic bucket
buried most of the way in the ground. Take some stuff, leave
some stuff! Record it all in the log book. Have Fun!
