Come on out for an Earth Week(end) CITO at one of our St. Louis County Parks - Meramec Bottom. This is a park that gets flooded regularly and, sadly, always has new trash floating in.
SLAGA will be sponsoring this event and they will provide water and some snacks to get your energy up for the day. St. Louis County Parks will provide trash bags, a dumpster and a have a truck driving around the trail to pick up bagged trash and the larger heavy items. Make sure to bring some work gloves and dress for getting dirty!
The event will run from 2p-5p. Meet at the marked coordinates for parking, and if we have enough people, we'll carpool some helpers over to the other trailhead and get even more territory covered!
