After a steady climb up from the coast on Mana Island, this seat presents a welcome break to rest and enjoy the stunning view.
Mana Island was formerly farmed but extensive planting over the past 25 years has changed the landscape. This cache allows you to take in the views back towards the DOC Base and out over the channel to Titahi Bay. The cache (a small sistema) is close by. If you are lucky you will see a takahe roaming nearby. At night, rowi (a type of kiwi) can be seen or heard near this location. Cache was transferred to DOCNationalOffice account in 2025.
