<p>The 13th Annual Texas Challenge (GC4YE34) is an annual event pitting the different geos in Texas against each other to determine bragging rights as the best cachers in the state. In addition, the winning team is awarded a Golden Ammo can. North Texas has won this event the last two years and we have every intention of making it three in a row this year in Lubbock on March 14th.</p>

<p>The planning events are open to everyone - if you have never attended a challenge but are interested in finding out more, you are attending but, not participating, and most importantly if you are competiting. If you are planning on attending - please participate in at least one event. The Planning Session will start at 11amm and last about an hour. There are some great caches in the area.that you can grab before or after.</p>
<p>During our planning session we will provide as much information about the event as possible, answer questions and and discuss strategy based on prior events. .</p>

<p>1) We have a Facebook Page - North Texas - 2014 Texas Challenge. We are reusing the site from last year. This is a closed group if you are not already a member ask to join and someone will add you to the group. This page has all kinds of info and some smack talk related to the challenge.</p>
<p>2) TXGA Site - <a href="http://www.txga.net/">www.txga.net</a>. This is the site where you sign up. Under the Events tab you will find some info. If you haven't signed up please do so ASAP - not sure of the exact deadline for registration but YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE EVENT to compete.</p>
<p>3) We will have multiple planning sessions on the Saturdays around the Metroplex - Feb 7th, Feb 14th, 15th and Feb 21st</p>
