As an avid music fan, before the luxury of online streaming my main source of discovering, and listening to, music was to sit next to my trusty radio and flip back and forth through my many favorite FM radio stations.  During the spring and summer, I'd occasionally flip over to the AM dial to get an update on how badly my New York Mets were losing that day.  Since Long Island is so densely populated and is so close to several metropolitan areas, in addition to having access to all of the wonderful Long Island stations, I would occasionally pick up stations here and there from the New York City and Connecticut zones as well.  It was especially tough keeping track of all these stations given that they all came from three different geographic zones on two different dials, and that each station could be identified in one of two ways.  Despite the fact that each station's frequency would normally be the key information needed to tune in, I always preferred to keep track of all these stations by focusing on the call letters instead, as I found those were much easier to remember.  For those of you like me who enjoy lots of different radio stations, but have trouble keeping track of where they're all located and what they all play, I've included a handy reference chart that you can refer to.  There should be something here to satisfy all tastes, and if you look at the chart carefully enough, you might even get directions to a cache! (My memory isn't perfect, so this chart may not quite reflect reality 100%, but I can assure you that it will still give you the information that you're REALLY interested in)
