Geocache Description:

The summer of 2014 wilfires contributed to approx. 360,000 hectares burning. The 3rd highest in BC history.

Between April & Nov. there were 1,455 wildfires responded to across BC. with a total of 1,196 personnel &

resources brought in. As of Nov. 2014 there was an estimated $300 million dollars spent responding for the season.

Final cache for The Tom Lacey Legacy Trail. This cache was placed on a secondary trail nearby so as not to

coincide with any other caches in the area.
