This cache requires a high level of stealth as mugglers are always around 24/7. This is a micro container with a log book, please bring your pen to sign.

Designed as a boulevard, Avenida Gaudí is a place frequented by walkers, so there are a number of bars and restaurants with terraces.


La Avenida Gaudí es un paseo que une dos de las grandes joyas modernistas de Barcelona: La Sagrada Familia y el Hospital de Sant Pau. Interrumpe el trazado rectilíneo del Ensanche al ser una vía en diagonal de apertura relativamente reciente. Desde ella se consiguen magníficas perspectivas de ambos edificios.

Diseñada en forma de bulevar, la Avenida Gaudí es un lugar frecuentado por paseantes, por lo que también hay un buen número de bares y restaurantes con terraza. Un elemento característico son sus farolas modernistas, cuya ubicación original era el cruce del Paseo de Gracia con la Diagonal. Fueron diseñados por Pere Falqués Urpí, esculpidos en su parte inferior por Juyol y rematados por un trabajo en hierro forjado de Manuel Ballarín. Fueron instalados aquí a mediados de los 80, una decisión afortunada, ya que contribuyen a resaltar el carácter modernista de esta avenida.
