Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates but
you MUST fulfill the requirements before you may log a find on this cache.

Have you ever found a cache whose name included one (or more) of those odd looking characters such as ü, ñ, é and many others. Or maybe even one of those even more unfamiliar characters such as э (Greek), И (Russian), א (Hebrew), 艾马 (Chinese) and many others from other non-Latin based languages. If you've found 15 or more of these caches then you qualify to log a find for this challenge cache.

Challenge Requirements:

There are TWO ways to qualify for this cache. See 1a) and 1b).

Here are the rules:

1a) Find fifty (50) caches in ANY country.

OR

1b) Find fifteen (15) caches in the following five (5) majority English-speaking countries:
-- United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

2) The caches that qualify for this Challenge must have at least one non-English letter (with an English letter being a-z or A-Z). That letter could be Latin-based such as the German ü, French or Spanish é, or a non-Latin based letter such as the Chinese 艾马.

3) Caches can be of ANY type (Traditional, Mystery, Multi, Event, etc.)

4) Previous finds DO count, so you may already qualify for this challenge.

5) Archived caches that you have found also count.

Challenge Verification:

To show that you have completed the challenge, please submit a bookmark list of all the caches. There should be at least 15 or 50 caches listed, depending on how you meet the requirements. For each cache listed, please give the GC code, cache name, and country. The date you found it is not necessary.

OR, OR, OR

you can use the GSAK Macro "NotModernEnglishCharacter", available at:
NotModernEnglishCharacter.gsk

This macro can be run against your "My Finds" database and it will create a listing in your browser showing GC code, cache name, type and country of all caches that have names that include one or more of the Latin-based non-English characters. If you have 15/50 or more in the requisite countries, then instead of creating a bookmark list you can take a screenshot of the results produced by this macro and post it in your log find for this challenge.

If you need to include cache names with non-Latin based characters such as Russian, Chinese, or Greek (here is one example of such a cache -- προειδοποίηση), then you'll have to create a bookmark list at least showing these caches you've found (in addition to posting the output of the macro). This limitation is because GSAK does not support Unicode like all web browsers do today.

The following Project-gc Challenge Checker can be used to quickly verify if you've met the requirements.
