Aliengirl: The shrine is now gone and there's no indication that it will be back anytime soon. If/when it returns, I'll make a new cache for it. In the meantime, I'll archive it in case someone else wants to place a cache in the area.

Welcome to the Michael Jackson House! Nearly five years after his death, the "shrine" is still going strong.
I found this house as I was wandering around one day. I did a double-take but didn't stop to fully take in the shrine. On my second passby a few days later I stopped to fully take in what I saw. Then I went home and did a little research. The owner of the house was interviewed by the Washington Post back in 2010 about the shrine. Since then it's been in numerous newspaper articles and blogs. It's even been named one of the "Other Monuments of DC". After all of that publicity, how can there not be a cache here?
