Back in August of 2014, Geocaching HQ had the 7 Souvenirs of August challenge. The Souvenir challenge pushed cachers to go out and explore different cache types. The types were:
The Explorer - Traditional
The Puzzler - Mystery
The Sightseer - Multi
The Nature Lover - Earth
The Socializer - Event
The Collector - Rare Caches (Wherigo, Letterbox-Hybrid, Webcam, Virtual)
We wanted to take the time to revist some of the less common cache types and share stories about searches for these hidden gems of the Geocaching world.
For those interested we will also be doing a letterbox stamp carving demonstration. If you would like to participate we ask you bring:
Erasers (White or Pink)
Carving Tool (A sharp blade will work. You can also purchase a stamp carving toolkit at Michaels for about $20.00)
