The Sculpture is named, of course, "Silent Symphony". There are 42 pole-mounted wind sculptures along McGovern Ave. near the Amtrak station. The cost of the project was $200,000 and was paid for thru donations.
The artist, Lyman Whitaker from Utah, designed the kinetic sculpture to have different size blades and differing weights. This will cause them to spin at different speeds and practically never stop spinning.
