This multi-use path was formerly the right-of-way of Cottage Grove Drive. When the communities of Stonemill Farms and Dancing Waters were built, the portion of the road through these developments was renamed as Settlers Ridge Parkway and the alignment was shifted to the East. A portion of the old roadbed was made into this hike/bike path.
