Geocache Description:

It may help to "take pictures" to explain why you are there. These huge holes in the ground always amaze me.  I was in the area for a FTF so thought I'd set up a cache nearby in appreciation. 

The fence has recently (as of May 2015) been replaced with a wall and I would guess a more permanent gate is coming soon. Until then the cache is placed low, (magnetic).

Setting a FTF opportunity for another cacher in appreciation for the FTFs I get past, present and future!

10.14.2016 I am aware that there are plans to establish this as a gated community, and also that the neighborhood watch may be removing the cache, even if at present this seems to be an open public area. Will watch and archive this when the time seems right...for now lets see if it can get a few more finds, even though the view is pretty well obscured (yes the gate was installed and tarps keep you from seeing much of the hole). It appears that this hole is being filled in ... an amazing process in itself. If you can take pictures of the changes it would be cool to see. I'll try to post my old pictures.
