Geocache Description:

A multi as there is nowhere suitable to hide the cache outside the church. Note multi has changed location from July 2016, as had been muggled twice so you will need to recalculate if you had the old location saved sorry.

The final location is N 51 32. ABC  W 002 37.DEF

You need to go to the front of the church and enter the porch, which is open at all times and look at the two tablets for both world wars.

Look at the first world war 1914-18 and answer

A = No of people listed with a family name beginning with W * 2

B = No of people listed with a family name beginning with A - G in the alphabet

C = No of people listed with a family name beginning with B

Now look at both tablets and answer

D = No of people listed with a family name beginning with B

E = No of family that lost someone in both wars, (ie count how many family names appear on both tablets)

F = No of people listed with a family name beginning with W

Check sum for A to F is 23

Recent Photograph of Easter Compton Methodist Church (Compton Greenfield)

Services are held on the first and third Sunday of the month.

I used to live in the village and have attended many coffee mornings and fetes in the hall behind and a few services inside.

With a dwindling congregation and only two services a month I am not sure how long this church will survive.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.

There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list
