This is a small sized Cache in the foothills of Embudo Park. Ages 18 and up only. Expirenced hikers prefered. It's very tricky getting up to it. Be aware of wildlife and cacti.Display the utmost safety and preparation. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET TO IT. If you're afraid of heights do NOT attempt. There is no trail leading to it. Update I do not live here anymore, if anyone is interested in taking over for me please message me as I am no longer able to maintain its upkeep.
As a Geocacher brand new to Albuquerque I saw those mountains and I knew I had to explore them a little bit. This area is my first attempt. Don't really see many challenging caches around and this one is pretty hard to get to. It's very steep walking up so I can't stress enough that safety is paramount. I don't have much hiking expirence but I was able to make it with a little difficulty. BE AWARE OF YOUR FOOTING, and be safe. The hard trek is rewarding with a stunning sight of Albuquerque. Parking is available down below. It's inside of a not-really-cave. More like a space between two rocks/Cave kinda thing. I can not say enough. BE SAFE. There is no trail leading to it. Do not attempt during night.
