Geocache Description:

A cache for my daughter and now for others to find.

"It's dead and contorted just like you like them,  near Carlyle but not that far, just down the road from Jack's, up from the dam you used to go with your brother, across from where we used to look for milkmaids,  across form O'keefe's, Dad used to drive the cattle across the lane near there too. We saw a Black snake there last time you were home. Do you know it? " "I left something you might like out there"  I said to my daughter with a grin.

She found it!

BLACK SNAKE COLONIAL

Now for the recipe ( it's real and you can try it at home)

1 Large Black snake (5 foot long)

1 Clove of garlic

2 Table spoons of oil

3 Cups vegetable stock

1 large chopped onion

1 Tablespoon of butter

Large sprig of herbs

Salt & Pepper

Remove the head from the snake. Remove the skin by peeling downwards from behind the head. Open the belly and clean. Cut snake into 1" & 2" pieces. Saute in butter.  Add oil, onion and garlic  fry until  golden bown. Add stock and herbs. Simmer for 2 hours until sauce is formed. Remove herbs. Serve with crusty bread or mash.

"It's a little bony so watch out for bones"

Along with a Black snake suitable for this recipe you shall find a cache at this tree too. :)
