Quicksilver
Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appears in X-Men #4 (March 1964) and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He is the twin brother of the Scarlet Witch and the son of Magneto as well as the paternal half-brother of Polaris.
Debuting in the Silver Age of comic books, Quicksilver has featured in several decades of Marvel continuity, starring in the self-titled series Quicksilver and as a regular team member in superhero title the Avengers.
The X-Men
The X-Men are a fictional team of superheroes that appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The X-Men were created by writer-plotter Stan Lee and artist-plotter Jack Kirby, and were first published in 1963.
The X-Men are "mutants", a subspecies of humans who are born with superhuman abilities. They fight for peace and equality between normal humans and mutants in a world where antimutant bigotry is fierce and widespread.
