A pleasant 4.5 mile walk along public footpaths, reasonably quiet lanes and coming back via the small hamlet of Swainshill on the outskirts of Hereford. The return journey is along a stretch of the very busy A438, however, there are good wide pavements along this bit. Please take care when crossing this busy road.
